What would you do if you were Prime Minister for the day?
I would implement a carbon emissions market, so that people had a certain carbon emission allowance and people could barter with each other to buy or sell units of their carbon allowance. Not only would this allow poor people who do not fly or drive to make money out of their green life, but jobs would also be made to help cut the unemployment rate to ease the recession.

What was the last thing you cried about?
The pointlessness of life. I am full of melancholy and scepticism.

If you could debate against anyone (living or dead) on any topic, who and what would you choose?
I like controversy, so I would choose the most powerful people and argue against everything they believe in. The pope, I would debate him about Catholicism, and I would love to debate Barrack Obama arguing that America was not ready for a black president. This is despite the fact that I am delighted that Obama got elected, I just like arguing the most unlikely of debates, regardless of what I believe.

Do you have a ‘party trick’? What is it?
I can put my legs behind my head and drag myself across the floor using my hands. Although, when I am dressed up for a party, its not the most glamorous of things to do!

What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would buy a house and pay off my student loan. Pay my parents mortgage, set up a trust fund for my brother and sister. The boring safe stuff really.

What was the last thing you had a heated debate about and who was it with?
I debated with my friends about how in Iraq, dying for your country is no longer honourable because the soldiers do not know what they are fighting for and honour does not lie in ignorance. Very heated on a Friday night after copious amounts of alcohol!

Do you have a favourite charity or cause?
Debatewise.com of course!! People will often say cancer. But I have two objections to cancer research charities. 1) I think the cure to cancer has already been discovered but a pact has been made to not let it out to the public because that would mean thousands of scientists would be out of a job and 2) if a cure to cancer was let out to the public, there would be too many geriatrics in the world. Humans cease to be productive in their 80s. After that they are just a drain of public funds. (I told you I would debate the most callous of topics.)

Could you survive without the internet?
I have been for the last two weeks!! It is surprisingly easy. Although I did feel very cut off from the world.

Do you have a secret reality TV addiction? IF SO, CONFESS NOW!
I see nothing wrong with reality TV. A light relief from a hard day of studying is nothing to be ashamed of. I love them all! Dancing on Ice, Super Nanny, Kitchen Nightmares, Big Brother (not the celebrity one), X factor. I suppose you could say I am addicted.

What are your favourite websites?
Neopets.com!!!! If you do not know what it is, you should. I currently have 8 million neopoints, plus 3 million neopoints in the neopian stock market. I have had this account since I was 13, and the website never ceases to entertain me.

What are the tope 5 tunes on your i-tunes playlist?
Old Yellow Bricks - Artic Monkeys.
Cold Desert - Kings of Leon
There Must Be Something Fishy Going On - Dolly Parton
Leaving On a Jet Plane - John Denver
Calm Like You - The Last Shadow Puppets.
